Presentation of the tabernacle was well done. Helped with our (and kids) understanding. Price is reasonable. Also we learned differences about the Amish and mennonites. Great info and good store for shopping.

The biblical tabernacal and information center are gem's in the rough. Most locals don't know this exists, but I highly recommend stopping by.

No, the Mennonite Information Center does not offer ancestry services. The building beside them houses the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, and they have resources for doing ancestry research.

Are photos allowed on the tour?

The guide will advise you when you can take photos and when you can't. The Amish don't approve of photos of themselves, but if you are far enough away it might be all right.
