In our opinion, this is the best way to see Amish Country and learn about their customs. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had a great two hours with her.

There are a number of options to visit the same sites in this area with different operators. We were recommended this one by friends who live in Virginia and had visited previously. With this service you take a guide out in your vehicle and he or she directs you to various places and gives you the history and talks about... More

We visited in Oct 16 and saw the free introductory film which was about the origin of the Mennonites and the Amish. We then went on a tour with the guide in our car for 2 hours ($53 usd). It was a great tour and very informative.

This is a great place to get information and history of the Mennonite community. They also house the temple as described in the Old Testament.

I brought my family here over 11 years ago before the birth of my son and really enjoyed it. I decided to bring him and was not disappointed. The place had not changed at all. No real improvements or upgrades but that did not detract from the experience. The tour was very informative and I would recommend it to anyone... More

We had scheduled a tour thinking it would help us learn about the area in a couple of hours and would help us know where we wanted to go back. Well, we were absolutely correct. Our guide was outstanding. She gave us a great tour, showing us things that we were particularly interested in. When we completed the tour, she... More

We found this a very useful stop -- both of us have been confused about the differences between the Mennonites and the Amish sects. Very useful information on that front, and also good information about the area and things to do and see.

Lovely little museum that cleared up questions I always had about Mennonites. Nice stop if you have a leisurely agenda.
