What a discovery to find the home of this world famous artist in Lancaster. The collection is small and, of course, you shouldn't expect to see Demuth's most famous paintings here--the museum is tiny, with a budget to match, I expect. But if, like me,...More

If you are a Demuth fan the building and somewhat limited collection are satisfying, but don't expect an extensive collection or exhibits by other artists. Rather small venue.

The collection is very small. Not sure if there are more works in storage. The examples shoe different styles of Demuth's work. A longer description of Demuth's work in context & the evolution of his work would help. Nevertheless, he is an important local celebrity.

Just a very few Demuth paintings, mostly prints, other artists work and things to buy. Not worth the time or the $20. Demuth paintings are exceptional watercolors so so this Museum was a real disappointment

This small museum is worth a visit. It won't take long, and it's worth your time. A little bit of history about this artist that I never knew.
