Spotted this on trip advisor so called in on our travels through Pennsylvania and had a great time. Its only a small museum but very interesting and tells the story of the Lincoln Highway which we knew very little about. In England we hear about route 66 a lot and have driven it but we hear nothing about other historic... More

Thank you for your post. The Lincoln Highway is older and longer than Route 66 but has a fraction of its notoriety. So glad you had an opportunity to travel part of it. We're glad you stopped at our museum. More

We stopped by the Lincoln Highway Experience while in the Ligonier, PA area last month. We always saw the building from Route 30 and wanted to stop in someday. We were very glad that we did. The museum has a wonderful film that introduces you to traveling on the Lincoln Highway. The museum consists of several rooms, with our favorite... More

This is a nice small museum on the Lincoln Highway housed in a 200 year old home along the original alignment of the highway through this area. It has some nice photos and descriptions of landmarks along the highway and a good film to introduce you to the history of the highway. The volunteers here are also fun to talk... More

This is a nice little museum to visit when in the Latrobe area. It gives some history of the Lincoln Highway corridor. It only cost $5 to get in. I would definitely visit here again if in the area as they will be expanding the museum.

I enjoyed my short visit to this museum the lady running the place was full of information and more than ready to share what she knows about the items there.

Well worth a stop on your way to or from Ligonier. Who thought the history of a highway could be fun? Don't miss the gift shop with Handmade on the Highway items--from the kitschy Lincoln penny stuff to the scherinschnitte cards and lovely pottery. One more week of Supper Market this season which has become the place to be Wednesday... More

Wednesday is a special day, especially if there isn't rain. Come to the Lincoln Highway to enjoy food, music and good conversation. You can bring your own beverages (adult), chairs even though there are tables and benches available. The atmosphere is charged with friendliness and fun.

I wasn't sure I wanted to stop here and I'm glad I did. I had no historic perspective on the Lincoln Highway, I saw the signs along Route 30 but... So I stopped and learned a bit of history. Interesting museum located in a beautiful old home. Watch the video, look at the pictures and displays, then drive the highway... More

This house built in the early 1800s holds great photos, artifacts, and a film about Rt 30's past. The guide on duty can tell you a lot as well. The gift shop has everything in it! Can't wait until the Diner arrives and is up and running!
