We were at Saint Vincent College for Steelers training camp and wondered around the campus on a day the training camp was not in session. Looks like a beautiful campus but the people weren't very friendly. The volunteers at the Gristmill had no clue on what we could see on the campus, suggested we go to the office next to the basilica. The lady in that office offered us a map but didn't have the time to chat. People in the offices just seemed like us tourists there for Steelers camp were a pain.

Visited the campus, went to several basketball games. Sunday we went to the Cathedral Basilica. The students, athletes and staff are very polite, helpful and cordial. When visiting Latrobe Pa you will enjoy visiting this college and Basilica.

This is a beautiful campus with a rich history of religion and the region. The College is amazing with notable graduates from its traditional arts and sciences background. The Benedictines have let their mark literally, since they built much of the college by hand. In a tranquil setting to appreciate God's beauty.

We were in town for the St. Vincent concert series, specifically Hye-Jin Kim violin/piano concert. For a cold January night it was well received and attended. Concert hall is 2nd floor of Carey Student Center. When you visit the building please check out times for art gallery on the 3rd floor. Very interesting exhibits.

The Saint Vincent College campus is pretty popular in the summer because it is home to the Pittsburgh Steelers summer training camp. The campus itself is in a nice location but the church on the campus is magnificent.
