As they say, all good things come to an end and this one is a punch in the gut, if you are a traditionalist. For decades, this landmark was a must-do visit, and not only for the high quality, totally delicious chocolate products. The store was as much a museum as it was a candy store, in a very quaint... The store moved across the street from the original building. I was there for the grand opening. It was perfect chocolate chaos. I love Wilbur chocolate - you can taste the quality of their product. Too bad Hershey beat them to the mass production because they aren't as well known but I'm happy they kept quality over quantity. Great Chocolate... More

It had been a while since I had been here so I was surprised to see that the store had moved across the street to a new location. I know that they needed the space...but it lost the charm of the old store front in the factory.

It'seems directly across the street thrombosis the historic factory building. The new digs are bright, modern and bursting with the thing Wilbur is rightly famous for: mouth watering chocolate. Milk and dark are represented in various styles. Our fave is the chocolate 'buds', which are similar in shape to Hershey kisses, but theven similarity ends there. Wilbur chocolate is not... More

I just visited during their grand opening weekend for their new location which happens to be right across the street! They moved to the old Frizz and Freeze restaurant across the street. They remodeled the building and have a facade out front that replicates the front of the old store/factory - looks really nice! I like how there is now... More

Wilbur chocolate is by-far the best chocolate. We always have Wilbur buds in the house and will even give them as gifts to friends from out of the area. I use their chocolate chips every day in my oatmeal since they say people who eat chocolate in the morning are happier. It is a shame that the retail store in... More

Fantastic place to purchase a piece of Lititz history. The chocolate tastes so so good. Better than those we know so well. Before you go back home stop by their new location and bring your friends some very good chocolates. Oh if there is someone you know that likes to make candy, Wilbur buts sell some very nice molds to... More

With the closing of this Wilbur Chocolate Factory they also closed the original store as well. Across the street is a parking lot and the new store. There isn't any character and looks like an outlet shop inside. The prices are so much more expensive also. I doubt we will be back. Tourist magnet with no personality.

We visited Wilbur's because we had read that they give a "factory tour". Actually, we come to find that the old factory building, located across the street from the new store, is being sold. The "tour" basically consists of watching a few workers behind glass put the finishing touches of chocolate on assorted candies. So, while the "tour" was a... More

When in Lititz visit Wilbur Chocolate and be sure to head to the back of the shop where you can taste samples of their chocolates. They make dark and milk chocolates and have a large selection to choose from. There's ample parking in front.
