The battlefield is an open space which just recently attained National Historic Landmark status. Located in the borough of Malvern the battlefield is a great place to relax and think about what occurred there so many years ago. A short walk to the borough which is wonderful for shopping and some wonderful food (Christopher's, Anthony's, Buttery, Alba, etc.).

Currently, this is just an open field and there is some small memorials and flag is there but after reading history it has all the potential to be visiting attraction. This is more like the unfenced park. Calm quiet . History can be read at wiki site.

We stopped in to see the site and admire the history on a rainy afternoon. The site is very well maintained, especially given the scale of the operation managing it...kudos to their volunteers and associates. Great site for American Revolution buffs and should be seen in conjunction with the nearby Brandywine Battlefield and Valley Forge...a great tour of the 1777... More

Part of the park was taken up by a local carnival, but there appeared to be ample parking space. Lots of makers to explain the battlefield and a really nice booklet that goes into details of the battle.

Very nice place, people enjoying the area, jogging, etc. Lots of history to be seen, but it was difficult to read a lot of the signage, it was very weathered.

Clean and peaceful surroundings. Easy to walk and get around. It could have a few more places to sit down.

Within about two miles of the Hampton Inn in Frazer, PA, is the location where one of the most savage defeats that American forces suffered during the War for Independence took place. Near what was then called Paoli Tavern on the night of September 19-20, 1777, a Continental Army force under the command of Gen. Anthony Wayne camped as part... More

Paoli Battlefield is an important piece of our history. It's a very small park, and easy to negotiate. When you think of the significance of this hallowed ground, it reminds you of what these brave men sacrificed to give us what we have today. Gen. Charles Grey led British troops and surprised, ambushed and overwhelmed American troops led by Gen.... More

I have lived in the area for years and had no idea that this site were here! I went out here with a friend one summer night. The site was a large field and a wooded area. It is a pretty area, but lacks good information or signage.

Remember Paoli! Unfortunately I don't think a lot of people do. Very nice township effort at commemoration of the massacre adjacent to their Memorial Park
