Instead of throwing away discarded PennDOT signs, officials and Allegheny College joined hands to make a lovely display. This interesting art is the work of Amara Geffin and her students. Many times when I go by the PennDOT building I see people with camera taking...More

I believe the local college worked with PennDOT to make this road sign art exhibit. It has grown larger over the years and is wonderful. What a great way to reused old signs.

This is first rate public art, not to be missed. Prof Amara Geffen and her students worked on it during the past two years and the result is stunning!

Started off as a couple of flowers and blossomed into a whole fence row. Thoughtful art by students from Allegeheny college.

We drove past it and didn't know what it was until we read about it later. The signage from the road needs to be clearer.

These are pretty cool to look at. We parked at Dairy Queen and walked the full length of the fence, there were so many of the signs, I was surprised! It was a hot day but well worth the stop and walk in the heat...More

It's neat to see what they did with the old highway signs and the imagination. More gets added yearly. A pretty neat thing to see.

Very distinctive decorating! The college kids have worked very hard on this project with much help from others in the community. Very neat to check out if you are in the area. I always see people stopping to take pictures of it.

The facility is PennDOT's and the signs are street/road signs that were no longer viable for usage.
