I went for a walk on the trail with both my teenagers and my 3 yr old. It was a good walk to get away from the sun for a bit. We didn't make the whole trail but my baby loved the blackberries on the...More

We discovered a lovely walkway that led to interesting spots. The first attraction on that trail was a wooden covered bridge over a river. It looked quite new and quite modern and it was very attractive! On our path we saw many colorful flowers, beautifying...More

Parked in the parking lot on 322 and started walking. Walking along the trail was enjoyable. The trail was shaded, and it was very quiet. The path was well paved and pretty level. There are benches are well placed and comfortable. Mosquitoes were numerous in...More

You can bike, run, walk or cross country ski on an increasingly long paved trail thanks to local efforts and donations. The area is safe and family friendly. The only caveat: as it often parallels French Creek, be prepared for mosquitos in summer.

We go to Ernst Trail at least twice a week. Yes, the bugs can get bad but bring your spray and you'll be fine. Lots of wildlife, even weasels, snapping turtles, and of course deer. It would be better if everyone would clean up after...More

I enjoy hiking this trail, it goes along part of French Creek. Lots of shade for hot summer days. It is also great for biking.
