We are local and visit this state park at least monthly through the year, more often in the summer. Kids love the beach area (be forewarned though, the water is equally FRIGID in May as in August). There’s a nice snack bar by the beach....More

I love to come here to run the miuntain trails. It is scenic, remote and beautiful. There is a small lake to fish and swim in during warmer weather.

There’s one larger modern house/cabin that can be rented, and there are a few small rustic cabins in the campground area.
