This was our second visit to Milford. The museum was not open during our first. The mansion building is very interesting. Most of the exhibits, with the exception of the Lincoln flag, are geared toward locals. No one offered to show us around or answer any questions.

If you like American history and know who Abraham Lincoln is you should visit here. The Lincoln flag, once draped in the box at Fords theater, then used to cushion the President's head rests here.

My daughters and I took about an hour to visit. They had some neat artifacts and we enjoyed walking around.

This place has so many low key treasures. I say low key because they don't all stand out as solo features but are all very interesting as well as smartly presented. The staff are very helpful and informative. I had a very nice time and will go back again.

As far as small museums go the Columns has many interesting displays. The Hiawatha Stage coach is a favorite, the costumes and Indian artifacts a terrific experience.

For a small town, this museum is chock full of interesting history and beautifully maintained. A definite must see for an afternoon when visiting Milford.

We had a nice visit. The guide was very informative and seeing the flag with Lincoln's blood was very emotional.

A neat, compact and interesting Museum. Lots of info on the history of Pike County. The Lincoln Flag on which he lay after being shot is a unique artifact of American History.

Very nice place to visit. I like museums that link one back to the past. Beautiful architecture throughout the building. Great little find on a day trip.
