This place has so many low key treasures. I say low key because they don't all stand out as solo features but are all very interesting as well as smartly presented. The staff are very helpful and informative. I had a very nice time and...More

As far as small museums go the Columns has many interesting displays. The Hiawatha Stage coach is a favorite, the costumes and Indian artifacts a terrific experience.

We had a nice visit. The guide was very informative and seeing the flag with Lincoln's blood was very emotional.

A neat, compact and interesting Museum. Lots of info on the history of Pike County. The Lincoln Flag on which he lay after being shot is a unique artifact of American History.

Very nice place to visit. I like museums that link one back to the past. Beautiful architecture throughout the building. Great little find on a day trip.

Went to see the blood soaked Lincoln flag - which was placed under the President's head after being shot. I learned a lot - beautiful building. Also has an American flag with 31 stars on display

I love it here, a wealth of information about a very historic town! Plus the Lincoln flag in a neo Greco Roman house called the Columns. Friendly staff and an interesting book store. Genealogy research done here too.
