Great place - if you want to waste your time waiting in line to purchase your wine, wait in another line to place a food order, and then wait OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF for your food!

At a minimum, Greendance should alter their policy about bringing in food - since they do not have the capability to provide adequate service.

I rarely leave reviews, and never negative ones. But this was so disappointing as Greendance is a truly nice winery setting with decent wine, large selection, and great music. But they cannot come even close to adequate handling of food and wine purchases. This was our third visit here and sadly our last. They should have improved their operations by now.

What a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Greendance. The wine shop is well-appointed and tasting room is very nice. The wines are excellent. (I prefer the sweet ones). Can't say enough about the staff ... They were all pleasant and very helpful. What I enjoyed most about this winery were the outdoor seating areas. You have many choices, from cozy and intimate, to more open and suitable for a party. We also enjoyed the live music, and food is available on-site. Don't forget to try a piece of pie!

We liked this winery. We had a fun time at this one.
They were serving brick oven pizza from a tent.
The wine was pretty good. Great for Pennsylvania.

The tasting is free.
We had a good bottle of wine and enjoyed the music.

Plenty of tables on the grounds. Some in private areas.

It is a nice place to hang out. Nice to walk around a little.
No charge for anything except what you purchase.

My husband and I were exited to finally bring my daughter along with us to visit this cute farm/bakery/winery and relax and have a treat. Finally made the long trip out but then arrived shortly before closing, so had to rush to purchase everything, then finally sat to enjoy our treats, only to be kicked out by the manager?? The staff at the dessert shop and the wine shop were great...it was a shame the experience was totally ruined by being told to leave the grounds, my my Daugherty was still eating her ice cream. Had bee excited, and was a lovely day, but were so disappointed and turned off by the rudeness of the older gentleman that told us we needed to leave the premise (1 minute after 5, while other people we also still seated and drinking), that we will most likely never bother to return. 😕.

Driving through we stopped in early after lunch. Good thing! It got much more crowded after we got there! But no problem, lots of seating for everyone! Pleasant afternoon among the trees in a small seating area. Very intimate and private.
Simple wine tasting...no pressure. There was a band that afternoon.
You can't bring in any food, but there are many options on site to purchase: cafe, gift shoppe, winery.
Good place to get away and relax for an afternoon.

We decided to visit the winery while staying at Seven Springs. We have been there before. The winery is situated in a berry farm and 🍎 an apple orchard. There is seating in the apple orchard and also an amphitheater for entertainment. There is a nice variety of wine. They have a gift shop and bakery on site. Obviously, the pies are baked freshly. You can order them by the slice and topped with ice cream. If you like wine and are in the area, it is definitely worth stopping by.

We had to cancel our vacation Colorado and stay in PA!! So a spur of the moment trip to Seven Springs and Pittsburgh. We searched wineries and thankful they were open!! What a beautiful place for wine and lunch!! Lunch was a little pricy but isn't everything? Our meals were fresh made and the wine was wonderful. We were thankful for the shade!! We will be sure to come back!! We also bought a fresh blueberry pie from the bakery,,so good!!

The only bad thing is, we were thankful we left our dog at home this trip. Dogs are not allowed due to the big birds wondering around. She would have had to stay in the car..it was 85 degrees!! I would recommend a few dog friendly tables in the shade for well behaved dogs.
