The staff are amazing and they do their best to welcome you and fill you with interesting information about the history of the house and Joseph Priestly, the scientist who discovered oxygen.

It's a nice little walk and presentation around the grounds and home of Joseph Priestly the person who discovered oxygen (while in England) and Carbon Monoxide while in Pennsylvania. Plan to spend an hour. Children will be bored.

Over the holiday the group put on an amazing re-enactment of Joseph Priestley's experiments with gases. Ones he conducted here in Pennsylvania. Very entertaining and accurate and exciting for the whole family.

Easy to find with plenty of room for parking in their lot or on the street. Restrooms inside the Visitors Center. This was my first time there and they were celebrating Priestley's birthday so admission was free and there was a birthday cake. A retired...More

I go at least once a year. If is fun to walk around and the Dr Priestly presentation is fun no matter how many times you see it
