Visiting her cousin's family with my friend, came here to hike over the Youghiogheny - the "Yahk" they called it. People were riding bikes on the trails too. Walked on the rocks where the kids do the natural water slide. Then we toured the little...More

The walled tents are in terrible shape. They all reek of mold. The tent we were in had holes in all of the mesh, and had visible mold growing on the ceiling. One of the top bunks was removed from it's place and just laying...More

Beautiful scenic area. Lots of hiking trails and areas to hang out. Had left Pittsburgh to visit Falling Waters but since closed on Wed. continued on to the park and was not disappointed. Plan to revisit for fall foliage.

Don’t miss OhioPyle State Park. There is so much to do. Great Whitewater Rafting and also one of the best bike trails in the USA. The Great Allegheny Passage Bicycle Trail is amazing!!

First, let us save you some time to find this park, as the Maps app on our iPhone definitely sent us in the wrong direction. The park office (visitor center) is right on route 381 and a GPS address that worked was 124 Commercial St.,...More

Wow, what a great place to adventure. Tent camping sites are numerous, spacious, well-maintained - plus cheap local firewood and kindling available at the entrance commissary. Terrific number of hiking trails with wide range of lengths and difficulty levels. All dog-friendly and the local town...More
