The falls are a beautiful view from on top, but if you are able to, walk down the steps and across the rocks to the pool under the falls. I did fall on my way back out because my shoes were wet from being so...More

A gorgeous waterfall just steps from parking. The trail has several steps but great views from above and below. Also, longer hikes through forest trails along Cucumber run

Accessible after a walk down several flights of wooden steps. Lots of places to scramble around on the rocks.

This was a great waterfall that didn’t involve a long hike to see. It was an easy walk from the parking lot and down a very short flight of stairs to great views. We were there in the midst of a rainstorm on a week...More

We drove right past this gorgeous waterfall and went to the Ohiopyle visitors center not realizing it was there. The ranger there told us about this waterfall. We had some time to kill before our tour of Fallingwater. Cucumber Falls was on the way there....More

Very nice view of the falls in Ohiopyle State Park. Well worth a quick stop so long as other people don't hog the view by being "it's all about me" and spoil the view for others.

From the Cucumber Falls parking lot, it's an easy walk down the trail to the base of the falls. With a little rock scrambling, it's easy to make your way right to the pool at the base of the falls, and many visitors were also...More

We visited Cucumber near the end of a long days hike. The falls were running well and not too crowded on a Friday night. We could climb all the way down and go behind the falls. They are among the more impressive sights at Ohiopyle....More

Yes you pass the entrance to the waterfall - but it is a decent walk. I recommend driving to cucumber falls at a non peak time; unless you are not on any time limits and okay walking uphill and such.

Yes. Most of the trail down to the falls are stairs or well maintained paths. It is a short walk if you park next to the falls trail instead of the big parking lot at the Intersection down at the main highway.
