The best magicians are performers, they connect and draw you into a narrative, not just show 'tricks'. Liberty Magic consistently has the finest performers available, each with their on distinct connections to the audience. Shoot Ogawa does 'sleight of hand', familiar tricks of parlor magic from rings to handkerchiefs. These props are centuries old but his combination of flawless execution and a comfortable, friendly performance make them thoroughly enjoyable. For anyone who hasn't been to Liberty Magic this would be a perfect show to come and see just how much fun it can be.

What an amazing experience! We went to Mr Messado's School of Magic and it was indeed magical. The venue was intimate and comfortable. The show was outstanding with words of wisdom interspersed with magic, and plenty of audience participation from both kids and adults. So many great messages for kids in a way that was accessible and so much fun! My children (and husband) were thrilled that they were able to participate. We were able to join Mr Messado and others backstage, and he taught us some of his magic tricks and had a lovely conversation with us. I rarely remember to write reviews, but this was a home run and my kids are inspired!

A little gem on Liberty Avenue that both astounded & mesmerized me. No bad seat in the place & the intimacy of the room makes you feel like you’re a part of the action. The Life & Death of Harry Houdini did not disappoint. Both educational & entertaining, Lee Terbosic morphed into Harry Houdini with the ease of well, a masterful magician. I highly recommend both the show & the venue. We need more magic in Pittsburgh!!

I took my grandson their on his seventh birthday for his 1st magic show. He loved every minute of it. Mr. Messado performed wonderfully and amazed the children and the adults!! I paid for the vip and it was definitely worth it.

This was my first time at Liberty Magic. The lobby is so interesting and visually stimulating. I am not very interested in magic, but went to the show with a group of friends. We saw the Michael Misko show. He was funny and engaging with the crowd. I highly recommend this show. I laughed a lot and was pleasantly surprised!

What an incredible night out with a terrific comedic and magical experience with the family! Truly world-class quality magic act with well curated magic, comfortable seats, and great availability for tickets. Easily accessible being located on liberty Avenue and directly across from a parking garage making it easy to access for anyone. Located near many restaurants as well. This particular event was a BYOB performance. be sure to check for other possible performance opportunities to watch because they change several times a year with act running several weeks at a time. Be sure to purchase VIP seats. The after show time with the magicians is well worth the extra cost.

My father and I went to see Michael Misko, I laugh in the face of magic. The show was awesome! I have never seen my 88 yo father laugh and truly enjoy himself so much! The show was definitely worthy to see again. I can't wait to go to another show there!

We were first time visitors and found the venue fantastic; especially well suited for close up magic. We saw Michael Misko and loved it. He was a wonderful magician and very funny. We have no idea how he was able to do some of his tricks. There were four in our party and all of plan on coming back. If the other magicians are even half as good as Michael, we will have a great time.

We went to see Derek Hughes in Bag of Tricks with a group of friends. He is very entertaining and kept us amazed and laughing the whole time!! A few of us in our friend group got to be a part of the show which, for us, made it even more entertaining. Thank you to Dan and Brian for keeping us entertained before the show. Dan made one of our friends disappear 😉. We highly recommend Liberty Magic for a fun night in Pittsburgh!

This was the most fun I've had on an evening out in a long time. Derek Hughes was fantastic, but I've heard that all the magic acts are first rate. I loved it so much that I want to take family and friends to experience the awe and joy of Liberty Magic. The venue is intimate and the tickets are affordable. The show lasted 70 minutes, so it is a great addition to an evening out, but won't take up the whole night. Pittsburgh is lucky to have such a unique venue, and I highly recommend that both visitors and residents of Pittsburgh visit Liberty Magic. You will have a great time! Anne
