This tour company offers several different tours and we chose the Brookline tour. It was a short 10 minute drive (public bus if you do not have a car) from downtown and was an area of the city we would not have otherwise known about. Our tour guide was Valerie - and she was knowledgeable and super friendly. She did... More

My husband and I did the Strip District tour. We like food and we like learning new things. It was a fun way to learn something about the history of the area and the history of the establishments within the strip. Our group was a mix of visitors to the city and people from the area. If you have family... More

My Newcomers group has done their tours to Strip District, Lawrenceville, Bloomfield and the Southside and discovered history and toothsome treats on each. A great way to spend an afternoon getting to know Pittsburgh!

This was a terrific tour today: feeding both the stomach and the brain as our guide is a former professor whose interest was in architecture. We started Groceria Italiana and wonderful meatballs with Penne and followed with new york style pizza, northern italian pastry, nutella and strawberry sandwich, and finished with cheeseburger. Cannot leave out Maaria Mierante's place with her... More

We were celebrating my sisters' birthday and we're looking something different to do. We heard about the food tour and searched for one in Pittsburgh - reading great things about Burgh Bits and Bites. From the purchase of the tickets and speaking with Sylvia, we just knew that we were going to have a great time on the tour. Sylvia... More

My boyfriend and I live in Pittsburgh, and we both love food, so for my birthday he took me on the Lawrenceville tour. It's a part of the city we hadn't been to much before, and the Burgh food tour was absolutely a great way to be introduced to it. The choice of tastings was amazing, with a great balance... More

What a great day ...so worth every penny! Bloomfield truly is a Pittsburgh gem! The tour stops were so cool and welcoming. Food samples were excellent and plentiful and the store reps did a great job filling us about their establishments. With that said the real star of the day was our tour guide Richard. He was so entertaining and... More

The tour was everything we'd been told -- well organized, informative, fun. Gina was a great guide, filling in history and local lore between our restaurant stops. And the sample were fantastic, delicious, varied and enough so that we skipped supper. Highly recommend.

We ditched our museum plans and opted to explore a few neighborhoods on foot instead. The Lower Lawrenceville tour was a great introduction to Pittsburgh. Our tour guide, Cherl, was super knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood and the current stories of restaurant owners, artists, and shopkeepers. We started at Salonika, a Mediterranean deli where we were served a... More
