One of a kind trolley which is rail mounted and travels the distance at almost 45 def incline. And what heritage... those with technical mind must take a self study tour of the old machine room which is supported by explanatory posters. And finally it...More

If you have a Medicare card the ride is free. Spectacular view. Neat area to walk around. The restaurants are of all levels. We had a Punic planned at Point State Park so did not partake of the food or beverage. We also got to...More

Do plan this into your trip. We loved overlooking the city as we rode up - enjoyed the restaurants above - and then back down. Service was excellent; history was great fun. Do it!

What a treat, especially for $5 for a roundtrip ticket!. We could see so much of Pittsburgh from the top, Mt Washington! Unless you have height issues, I strongly recommend riding this unique train/trolley.

The stairs from the parking lot was very hard for seniors. I appreciated that seniors were free. The car was quaint and antique. The shop at the top was tiny and not what I was expecting but the seeing the gears working on the incline...More

A neat trip up the incline to view the entire city. Beautiful historic cars preserved and used for daily transport of locals as well.

Great views, service can be stoic but go for the views! We're one of the few cities that has these kinds of views naturally!

We took this ride just to do something unique. It was interesting to hear and see how the train operates. It was a quick visit and reasonable priced.

This is a must if heading to the Burgh. You will never see the city like this any other way. Great time and won't take long. Worth the ride.

At the top of the incline are several excellent restaurants. I like the smaller ones best, because they are intimate and if without a reservation, you might be able to still have a view without a window seat.
