The flower shows are beautiful. Make sure you go for the Christmas lights. I went last year for the first time and it was awesome! I will return every year for it now. A must see if you are in Pittsburgh at almost any time of the year.

First visit. Very beautiful. People who volunteered/worked there were quite knowledgeable and helpful. Went with my sister and my daughter. My daughter attends Pitt pharmacy school so her admission was free.

Lovely. Perfect place for wintry or rainy day. Indoor, outdoor optional. Winding paths meander under and over through tropics, orchids, desert and exotic foliage.

The smells of the different flowers and the set ups are beautiful even in the winter months. I plan on going back in the summer to see the new flowers. It is worth going back over and over

There is green and then there is GREEN! We go as a couple frequently and love taking guests for a stroll through this wonderland. The Cafe is truly top-notch and also affordable. Kids will love the children's garden as well as the butterfly room and the central layout with its miniature towns and trains. There is also a place where... More

If you like botanical gardens and landscaped grounds this is for you. I was there in the summer of 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole place. There are several different areas depending on your interests including bonsai and cacti, even a rainforest with butterflies! Very reasonable cost for the enjoyment.

Visited here when most of the outside grounds were not accessible because of the weather. Still worth the trip. Parking could be a problem. Beautiful inside gardens, very aromatic. The restaurant on site was a good spot for lunch. If you are a botanical fan, don't miss this.

I've been a patron since the late 1960s when I moved to Pittsburgh; we now live just over a hill and across a campus from The Phipps.... it's a place that has grown/improved over the years -- a high point was its hosting a G-20 reception/dinner for world leaders a few years ago. It's no accident that it was chosen... More
