A peaceful, heavenly, oasis in Pittsburgh. This is heaven on earth. the museum/chapel quiet, peaceful. We stayed for afternoon prayer. Not to be missed for those who love our Lord and Holy Mother Church. We did a church tour as well, Pittsburgh has the market on beautiful Cathedrals.

Well worth a visit. The world's largest collection of relics in the world. However, for non-Catholics, it may seem a bit strange!

Tucked into a quiet street on Pittsburgh's North Side, St. Anthony's is supposedly home to one of the world's largest collection of Catholic relics. It is *loaded* with bits and pieces ensconced in gold, silver, and crystal-- some of the pieces are said to be human, others things saints have touched. Frankly, it's bizarre-- but it's a one-of-a-kind place. The... More

A tour of this chapel is a real eye opener whether or not you are Roman Catholic. The relics are outstanding and the history of the founder is fascinating.

Even if you aren't Catholic or aren't even religious you will feel the atmosphere of peace and holiness when you walk through the door. In addition to just the plain beauty of the chapel and the wooden figurines (stations) there is a collection of relics second only to the collection at the Vatican !!! Right here in Pittsburgh, who knew... More

The stations of the cross are anatomically correct per the tour guide. We visited the shop Accross the street a souvenir shop. This chapel is a part of the Catholic history. I... More

This is an amazing place! To think that Pittsburgh has the most relics outside the Vatican is hard to believe!

This church is beautiful, the items on display are amazing, not just for Catholics, but also for the curious as well as the history buffs. My only complaint was that the "tour" that we sat through was very long, and though parts of it were interesting with regards to the history of the community, the delivery was rather dry and...
