We have been visiting Pittsburgh for many years and most visits include stopping at Station Square. There are a few more empty stores and a couple more restaurants closed since our last visit. It is a nice location just over the river from downtown. Station Square connects to two inclines, numerous tourist attractions and several restaurants, so there are still... More

Have been here a few times now and I'm still on the fence about the place. Views of the city across the river are really nice and the Hard Rock Cafe has one of the better selections of pins I've found anywhere (I'm a collector), but the rest of the area I could take or leave. Seems to be mostly... More

It seemed like it has potential, but it was like a ghost town. I'm sure it being a cold day in January didn't help. But it seems like Saturday afternoon would be a busy time. Not many shops open. A lot of empty store fronts. A pretty decent amount of restaurants but with nobody in them. I wouldn't recommend it,... More

This is on the water across from Downtown Pittsburgh. Lots of great restaurants, and shops, good parking and you can get out and stroll along the river front. Great views of Downtown and Heinz Field. I think I am not sure but I think you can catch a river boat ride from this location. Enjoy and explore. Oh, one other... More

Station Square is a nice place to hang out in summer/fall. There are loads of restaurants around, stores and bars. There is a mountain incline in the vicinity, however I did't go up on it. There are also numerous cargo trains passing by. Also in the area are the remnants of a fort. One can see Heinze Field from this... More

Lots of little stores with unique things. Some really good prices, some not. Loved the little wine place. Great to visit if you go to Pittsburgh.

Was told to go here for the Pittsburgh Sports gear shop. Didn't see anything at the sports shop that we couldn't get else where but there are some other interesting shops in the Square. Wine items, local candy, souvenirs. A boutique or two. A couple of restaurants. Too cold for a Duck tour that I believe one can pick up... More

A lovely collection of shops and eating places, it is really quite a charming area. Perfect if you have done the incline and want to come down and browse! It was all done up for Christmas and looked lively and welcoming! Very nice to see how the station has now been converted to a shopping and eating place! Outdoor area... More

Mix of restaurants, shops and office space, great little mini mall in the waterfront area. Great view of the city, water and has lots of character with its brick façade. Steps away from the Gandy Dancer Saloon with unbeatable clams, and a fabulous sunday brunch in the old train station...come play

I was visiting my daughter over the holiday weekend. My daughter and I went to Station Square to have a lovely meal for Thanksgiving Evening. There weren't many restaurants open but one of the restaurants was. We did have reservations and glad we did. I wish I could remember the name but it was in Station Square and looked like... More
