Fun place in Pittsburgh to explore! Definitely pay a visit to Walnut St. Mercurios, Cafe Moulin, and Shady Grove are wonderful, and Cappy's is a hidden gem. Prantl's burnt almond torte is to die for!!

One of the nicest areas in Pittsburgh. Has a small town feel to it, even though its part of large city. Feels safe to walk around at any time of day. We were there for 3 days and had food and drinks in the area.

We were visiting Pittsburgh and ended up in Shadyside...almost by mistake. But we loved the area. Ended up going to a movie nearby and enjoyed looking at everything.
