We had an enjoyable afternoon at the zoo. It isn't very large (we were done in three hours). There is a decent aquarium, too, that was very busy.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. The aquarium was by far our favorite part of the day, we spent well over an hour in the aquarium alone. We skipped the Dinosaur exhibit just due to time....More

I am from Pittsburgh. I didn't like this zoo when my kids were little and now that I have a grandson, things, even with updates, remain the same. As others have said, it's hilly and IMO poorly laid out. Admission fee are decent, but again...More

Had a good day at the zoo, the weather was nice and the animal was easy to see, the silver back gorilla is beautiful. Nice children's zoo as well.

When I visited a couple of weeks ago, the adult admission fee was $16.00. The Dinosaur exhibit can be added for an additional charge, which I believe was $6.00. Hope you enjoy your visit!
