No better place to be on a cool Saturday at the end of March enjoying the flora and fauna of worldwide origins. The otters and polar bears are especially fun to spend time with.

We had a great time. It was a pleasant but cool day and the animals were all very active. Some had to be kept in doors.

Really enjoyed our visit and would go back when in the area. I loved the underwater tunnel and the ease of walking the grounds.

The Pittsburgh zoo and aquarium is surprisingly good for a small city. Some of the enclosures are small though and some make it hard to see the animals. The park is designed well and has a good flow to it.The park is also kept very...More

We live in Pittsburgh so we go to the zoo several times a year. We go first thing in the morning. It isn't nearly as crowded and you can spend more time at the different viewing areas without feeling rushed. We've also found that in...More

We've been here countless times and generally speaking we love it, but it isn't the best when it is cold out. In addition to the expected issues, such as being freezing for several hours, virtually all of the animals are hidden away to stay warm...More

We have a membership and my 2 and 3 year old absolutely love it. But half the time I think I'm enjoying it more than they are!

The zoo is very clean and maps were helpful to find our favorite animals. But our daughter is obsessed with nemo and dori so our favorite was the aquarium. Excellent layout and sok many beautiful creatures

I would allow at least 2-3 hours, there is a playground area and also a few slides to try if you have young ones 2-13.

It depends on how much time you want to spend at each display - if you have small kids they either want to race from display to display or they want to stop and watch the animals for long periods. When you start on the... More

It's $13 for adults and $12 for kids during the winter. I don't think they have any deals until you have a group larger than 10 going. Also last time I went I took my giant eagle card and got a discount!
