We loved this campus! I've been to many different campuses and college tours, and this tour was one of the best. Students were friendly and informative. Campus is very nice, some really great buildings, nice green areas, lots to do and see.

It's a little tough to figure out where Carnegie Mellon and the city in general stop and the University of Pittsburgh begins. It is definitely an urban campus. The stand-out aspect of the campus is the Cathedral of Learning. That, alone, made our trip worthwhile...More

Architecturally the Cathedral of Learning is magnificent - inside and out. Inside the center lounge area is like being in a Gothic cathedral - massive arches, simply beautiful. There are also a number of "international rooms" on the 1st and 3rd floors. At the information...More

One of my children studied here for undergrad and at the graduate level. We are now visiting for another child and I am just as pleased with the many opportunities the university of Pittsburgh provides. Outstanding educational institution.

This was one of the" must stop and visit" while on vacation in Pittsburgh. WOW! I didn't get to visit all of the places that I wanted to while on campus, but the Cathedral of Learning was AMAZING. Breathtaking actually. I just stood in the...More

Our daughter will soon graduate and her experience at Pitt has far exceeded our expectations. We knew it was just the right academic experience for her, and she likes the city, but we didn't know she'd find such an extensive list of extracurricular activities also....More

I recently returned from some academic meetings on campus, and aside from the Cathedral of Learning (which is incredible) there isn't really much to recommend about campus, at least in the winter. It seemed like a typical urban university.

My daughter and I visited Pitt to look at it and Carnegie Mellon for graduate (PhD) schools. She wanted to get an idea of the location before applying. We also attended the Panthers/UVA basketball game. We loved the immediate area and the campus. We felt...More

Great opportunity to see and learn about the many cultures that have made Pittsburgh their home. Amazing architecture that make you feel like you are in a scene from a Harry Potter movie. Fun & interesting for all ages.

Hi, there are some hotels around campus like Wyndham or Hilton and they are all great places to stay and experience the campus around. The city is very well connected to the campus (barely 5-7 minutes drive or even buses) so... More
