This was the highlight of our trip. We were the only ones on the tour since it was in the later part of the day. Learn so much and wanted to know more. It is for all ages. Don't forget to the visit the home next door. The Amish family that lives across the street were selling veggies. The grape... More

So glad I found an earlier posting, put this on our adgenda for this week. Entire site was filled with part of our history. The mill was educational, the Ressler House was like stepping back in time.

This was an awesome discovery. We spend the day just driving around Lancaster and the surrounding countryside with the windows down, enjoying the sights and nature when we stumbled upon the Mascot Roller Mills and the Ressler House. With an 11 year old in the car, we stopped to take a peek and we weren't disappointed. We love looking at... More

I was really impressed by the knowledgeable staff and level of preservation of this free National Historic Site. You can walk into the mill at any time and join in the tour, which keeps rolling so you can catch up on anything missed. The tour guide also shows a brief film containing an interview with the mill's former owner/operator. The... More

Great place to stop and soak in some history shared by enthusiastic docents, reminding us how important these kinds of mills were back in the day. I had visited this spot quite a few years ago with my young children and remember how curious they were to see the mill work so when showing my partner around Amish Country I made... More

This FREE mill is a real fun place to stop. We enjoyed the short tour and movie and then a tour of the beautiful home next door. Great people and beautiful location among Amish farms.

We've biked/drive by the mill many times, and always thought "We should stop and check that out." On a bike ride this summer we finally stopped, and were glad we did! The old mill and house next door are free to visit and run by a foundation. The volunteer in the mill spent a lot of time showing us how... More

Visit here and avoid the kitschy attractions that dominate most of Lancaster, PA. It's efucational. A great tour. And you will learn about what life usd to be like in Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

This is a wonderful place to visit if you enjoy history. You visit an old time mill and a historical house. The grounds are beautiful.
