Straub has been brewing beer since 1872. Their American Lager is a 2016 US Open Beer Championship gold medalist, while American Lager Light took home a bronze medal. Tours are fun and informative. The Eternal Tap allows visitors two free beers each' draft or bottled!

I've been on a bunch of brewery tours around the world. All of them will tell you how beer is made, show how it's bottled, and probably give you a sample. Straub, while a commercial producer, is still small and family owned. This makes a...More

No bells or whistles; it is just about the beer. The lager is great. Easy to find and everyone is very friendly. You pore your own beer from kegs and you can also open bottles of beer to sample as well. This is all free....More

Saturdays are tough to get in for a tour. They work hard 5 days a week and want Saturday off. The store & sales are open but to get into the brewery give them a call, ask Mr. Brock the Pres. for assistance.
