Got a BS from State. Great academics, athletics, and networking/involvement programs. Will be going back to visit for football for years to come.

Talk about an impressive campus and football stadium ! Very historical, the campus was so clean and 9 of of 10 students I encountered had Penn State attire on, showing there is great school sprit on campus

We happened to visit during spring break, so not much going on but a great time to drive around and check out the campus. The Creamery was open and there is a parking garage behind the Creamery. It would be much nicer in warmer weather to walk around. The stadium was impressive and there is a sports museum there. I... More

Most reviewers of Penn State have focused on the education & campus. Whereas I am a proud grad & endorse the positives that others have mentioned, my review reveals a hidden culinary treasure. When I went to college is the 60's, dormitory dining halls did not serve haute cuisine. In fact, I would be hard-pressed to mention a dish that... More

Engineering, and Business degrees are the no 1 recruited majors in the country. Numerous other majors are great as well. My frustration though, is I think PSU feels they are doing you a favor to let you attend.

To experience the best of Penn State's campus, spend an hour or two on a leisurely walking tour. The diverse architecture alone is reason to do so, but it will give you a chance to interact with students as well. Regardless of the season, there is always something fun to do. Palmer Museum of Art is well worth a visit... More

The university has expanded a lot siince I grew up there, but it still is a great place to walk the grounds and take in the quiet intensity of focused learning. Stop by and see Old Main ... classic!

Best advice to visitors: ditch the car and walk! Buildings: from 100+ year old to very modern, many styles Campus: huge, with a wonderful collection of trees of all kinds including the grand procession of Elms on the mall. Enjoy extensive pedestrian only walkways. Treasure hunt: find the "whispering wall" along College Ave, the obelisk "detector", the banana plant, and... More

Beautiful college campus with many winding sidewalks and enjoyable scenes and campus activity. Excellent football, sporting activities, arts and entertainment if you desire. WPS you.com offers a full calendar of events. Don't miss the Berkey creamery for the world-famous Penn State ice cream. I highly recommend the scholar chip The one size and one choice only ice cream cones or... More
