Nice, quick side trip while visiting Penn State. A very relaxing, beautiful spot. Saw some students studying and couples walking. Enjoyed the Children's garden quite a bit!

If you're into gardens, this is the place to go when you're in State College. ?Not everything is labeled, unfortunately, but nonetheless it's a beautiful spot. The view from the main building, back to the north of campus, is lovely,

We enjoyed our walk around here. It was quiet and beautiful. The children’s garden would be great if our son was a bit older.

The Arboretum is a beautiful place to wander and explore. There is lots there to keep both kids and adults interested and engaged. Highly recommend that you stop there after or before a visit to the Penn State Creamery.
