A classic old-time college watering hole, filled with memorabilia, beer signs, college students, and alumae. A good selection of draft and bottled beer, and an atmosphere that you simply won't find in any new bar. You gotta go there.

The atmosphere is dark, but the heritage is timeless. I first visited the "Skeller" my freshman year at Penn State. It's a great place to drink and have a good time. Nothing fancy, but a classic! If you want a beer, or a case of...More

The Rathskeller has been downstairs for over 80 years and is still cranking it out. Look at the history on the walls, every picture tells a story. This is a captivating spot for a hole in the wall bar, I loved it. The staff was...More

Got there before they started collecting cover charge. The place was packed and on a cool May night (mid-40s temps) the bar was like a sauna. Not sure why there was no window open in this place - even with the entrance door open the...More

It's more like a pub but they serve good food. I tried a cuban sandwich: tasty and big - have to ask a box. Waiter was fast and kind.
