Great dog walk

A quiet place to stop and walk your dogs. There are swings and things for kids to play on. It's not a busy place so you can relax here.

Just a gem with beautiful native tree specimens; there are so many nut bearing trees that this park has the highest population of red and grey squirrels that I have ever seen (no hunting)! You can also fish the Tunkhannock creek for trout. The creek shores opposite the park have natural waterfalls and have masses of natural laurels. Bird life... More

We came here with our dog and he had such a good time meeting and playing with other dogs. The park is very well maintained, nice and clean. This is a great place to go for people who are travelling with their dogs.

Stopped here on our way to an event in town. Park was so adorable and perfect for our clan! The park is incredibly well maintained, and the play areas have a little something for every age. The park itself has a ton of open space - there was some large tractor event going on while we were there, but there... More

This is a great place for a family reunion or birthday party, and there's a great wine festival here each fall! Several pavilions (which book up quickly in the summer) provide shelter and shade. The red one is more centrally located and closer to the playground, the green one is closest to the creek. There's also a cute and functional... More

This park is well kept and features a field large enough for a decent soccer game, even walking paths, and small-medium sized creek. It is far enough away from the highway to be quiet and yet close enough to be accessible. There are also several pavilion-type areas that can be reserved for a price or used for free according to... Lazy Brook Park offers a quiet serene area for walking, sitting and exercising your dog. Many spring, summer and fall events reserved the park for some well attended, great variety of activities for the public. In the last few Christmas seasons the park has sported a holiday light festival for area residents as well as visitors to the area. The... More

I was there for the NEPA Bluegrass Festival. It's the perfect place for such a festival. The creek that runs along it is perfect for cooling off on hot days, for fishing, for kids & pets. The setting is pretty with plenty of shade trees. There's lots of level ground for campers & RVs. The paths & roads are great... More
