This has got to be one of the most fascinating works of natural art there is! There is no way to describe the size & beauty of the rocks located in this park. And a short trail to the overlook gives a breathtaking view of the Allegheny Reservoir! We visit this park at least twice a year, and our favorite... More

We tried to explore this area while visiting today, but the gates were closed. Some chose to park at the gates and walk in the 2.5 miles to the overlook, however we chose not to. We look forward to coming back when it is open, but wanted to warm others not to waste a trip until then.

Rim Rock is an experience you don't want to miss if you like hiking and trails. The rocks and views are beautiful. We would climb down through the rocks when we were younger. And the view of the Kinshasa Reservoir is great.

Really enjoyed the easy access trail from the parking lot to Rimrock Overlook. The stone stairs with the tunnel at the top of the overlook is a lot of fun for the kids....and those young at heart. We enjoyed great views and posing at the various rock formations along the trail.

Easy walk to overview. If you choose there are trails through the woods. Usually not very busy and there are picnic tables if you wish.

We took a ride up to Rimrock to check it out and loved it. You can spend some time exploring the area and taking in natures beauty. I would love to head there again.

We have been very impessed by the Pennsylvania State Parks. The Rimrock Overview is no exception. A beautiful ride to the parking arae as you go off the highway. Takes about 10 minutes to drive in. There is an easy walk to to a primary view point with spectacular panoramas. There is a harder walk down to the water level.... More

What a gorgeous place to stop and enjoy the views and trails. The huge boulders add to the sense of awe that you feel when visiting.

What a beautiful overlook. There was a stairway cut into the hillside to get to the overlook. There is a lovely picnic area as well
