You start at the tail waters of the Kinzua Dam and go for a 2-3 hour trip or can go all day depending on your preference. Water is usually low and slow so no big thrill but easy for beginners. Good for kayaking or canoes.

From Kinzua Dam to the outfitters is a 3 hour trip if you paddle without much work! Stop for lunch, swim, explore... More

Sue was very friendly and was very easy to deal with. Provided a boat, paddles and life vests then dropped us off by the Kinzua Dam for a lovely paddle down the river. saw 2 juvenile and 2 adult bald eagles. A good, relaxing time.

The Upper part is faster than the lower part of the river. This business is the splitting point of the 2. Upper part will give you a more scenic view. You can do both parts within an afternoon.
