We camp from May through October and many of our trips are to state parks. This park is by far the worse for its facilities. No heat in the bathrooms plus the bathrooms need updating. All water spigots have been stripped so the only place...More

I like going out and just sitting by the lake. There are very few bathrooms which are locked up for the season. The summer is pretty cool tho

A few minutes from home takes you back to nature. The park is refreshing to walk around. There is also a playground and a pool.

This is a great place to take family photos. The scenery is beautiful. It's also a nice place for family reunions. There is a lot of space. It has a great children's playground, hiking, and a beautiful lake to fish or go boating.

I haven't been here since the summer but am due for another visit. The lake when frozen is awesome with the quacking from the ice

rent a paddle boat, canoe, fish, picnic at one of the pavillions or hike in the woods. Great place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Pool available in summer, but have not used it in years.

This is really a great state park... Camping, fishing, boating, pool, picnic, hiking, mountain biking etc.. All sorts of things to do at this park. It does get a bit crowded on weekends in the summer, especially the pool area. It's maintained and kept well....More

In this area, bears are a reality. As a hiker, you must always be aware of your surroundings and movement at a distance. Never try to get a better look or go near a cub.

I have never stayed there. I'd call the park. I live two miles away from it.

Unfortunately I cannot answer that. I am local to the park and I don't camp there.
