I was walking for a while and it is so nice, pretty place to stay Bristol even in Winter! The Church with the Bells, the Library. I felt in a Movie around there.

My husband and I stopped here after a 2 hour ride on the East Providence Bike path. Tiny cafe and snacks were limited selections by mid-afternoon but everything was really delicious, especially the drinks. Cozy and homey.

Bristol is a nice, quaint town, but nothing exceptional. We found the shops to be disappointing. There are a few historical places along the street, but not special.

Was blown away by Hope Street and Bristol town! the only way to describe this place is it's like Disney World but real!! lovely and interesting shops, great restaurants and friendly people. Everything you could want from a small coastal new England town.

There are a few public parking lots, in Bristol. I do not believe they allow overnight parking. 1, lower State Street, next to 44 State Street 2. A town lot near Thames and Church Street, across from the Robin Rug... More

Yes, off of Thames Street, but it is paid parking. Most other spots you have to have a tag for parking on certain streets, but we have many public parking spots available. On our 4th of July no parking on the parade route.
