Fast, efficient and fun

We took the high speed ferry to BI. The ferry was fast. The staff was efficient with our bikes and the kids enjoyed the ride.

Dependable. On time. Safe. Been taking the BI ferry for 15 years. Only once did they cancel due to weather. Staff is friendly and make bringing a car on easy. We've been renting houses for a week at a time the past few years and bring a lot of stuff. Wish they had online reservations (especially for cars) as opening... More

This wasn't the first time we had been on the ferry, just the first time from point Judith. We took the quick little block island Express ferry. The ride was really quick.

We took the regular ferry out of Point Judith. It was sunny, with a breeze and it was a chance to sit back and relax. The trip was uneventful. The ride back was essentially the same.

Splurged and took the high speed ferry for the first time. Very nice ship. Clocked it with my gps at 34 mph. Sat on the outside deck and enjoyed the views and ocean breeze. Very quick on and off as compared the the standard ferry. Brought our bikes over and the staff stores them for you and retrieves them at... More

This ferry costs a fortune so unless you really need to go to Block Island, skip this one. I don't usually get sick on boats, but this made me very green.

Traveling to Block Island is easy and comfortable on the ferry from Point Judith. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine or whatever. Nice snacks and great view approaching the island.

Daily ferry across the water to Block Island from Narragansett. Cars and walk-ons. Arrive and board early if you want to get a seat all the way across. A smaller ferry boat (than say those used in Seattle) so it can rock a bit...those with tender tummies (that'd be me!) might want to bring some motion sickness medicine. It was... More
