When we first arrived and looked around, it didn't seem like this would be worth $5.00 for the tour, but we're glad we stayed and would now say it is worth it. You start off in the small museum learning about the history of the kazoo and move on to watch two videos. Then our tour guide, Sarah, stepped in... More

Based on other TripAdvisor reviews, we decided to stop. Ashley, our guide, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She loves her job! Inexpensive, lots of fun, AND we each made our very own kazoo! It's a bit out of the way, but we both highly encourage visiting.

It's hard not to like a place that shows how kazoos are made. Our tour guide, Ashley, was so enthusiastic about the company and product. What a fun place to visit. It would especially be fun with young kids because you get a kazoo PLUS an attachment for the kazoo. It was well worth the small fee we had to... More

Great value Personal tour guide, Erin, for my wife and me. She did a great job, demonstrating many kazoo variants and other similar instruments. We each made our own kazoo. All for $5 each. Good fun. Takes about 45 to 60 minutes.

This is something you won't do anywhere else, because there is only one plastic kazoo factory in the country. It's a great place to take friends and family of all ages, and it's a nice break from all of the interesting historical things to do and see in Beaufort. There is a small museum and gift shop, a short film... More

What a fun, little stop on our vacation! Who knew that a visit to the kazoo factory would be a memorable experience for all of us, no matter our age. We had a large group go, ranging from 3 years old to over 65 and we all had a blast! Ashley (our tour guide) was hilarious and you couldn't help... More

2016 will go down in history as a total bummer of a year, but if you step inside the walls of the kazoo factory in Beaufort, SC, you will find your worries forgotten, at least temporarily. The staff of the factory lead a truly enthusiastic tour of their shrine to the kazoo, a truly democratic and American instrument that is... More

We found this place while staying near by in Yemassee, SC. what a fun time! We watched a video about the history of the Kazoo and took the short tour. We got to "assemble' part of the Kazoo that was ours to keep. We ended up buying several for family members along with some attachments to give the Kazoos a... More

Ashley is awesome, she gave us an excellent tour. She was energetic, fun, knowledgeable and gave a demonstration of lots of instruments. We started our day at the factory looking at all the different instruments, the history displays, and then watched a very cute movie! We then proceeded to the back room where they make the kazoos. After that we... More

My husband and I had so much fun. Our kids are grown up now, but we aren't. Ashley gave a great tour, we saw a really cute movie and played some songs after we made our own kazoo.
