A very pleasant walk with an assortment of shops, Art Galleries, local restaurants, park for children at the end, near the waterfront. We parked near the Information Center where there were rest rooms and free parking on the road in the front. Be mindful of...More

We enjoy the Atelier by the Bay,(201 West St.) kind of like an artist co-op just one block off Bay, behind the out fitter that is on bay. They also have a fun tour company that has wonderful horse carriage rides, and a historical bus...More

This street was a nice street to walk. We stopped here on our drive from Charleston to Savannah. We adored all of the cute shops along Bay St. We walked into a gallery that was very nice, ate lunch, and window shopped at the unique...More

Pretty street to park and walk for a few hours. Store range from old bookstores, consignment furniture, ice cream and really good eats. Parking is tough on the main street, but you can park behind it and walk through the tree lined streets and see...More

This was our third visit to Bay Street. It's a charming spot with a row of quaint shops and restaurants on the water.

The downtown had lots of unique shops. We especially liked the one with Indonesian hand crafted items. We bought beautiful Pumpernickle cards at another shop. I bought a great hand knitted hat for only $12 at an accessory shop. The Rhett Gallery was a very...More

A clean, well maintained waterfront walkabout with seating aplenty to enjoy the views; a marina and a small ruise ship ported there for a day or so. Landscaped areas maintained; shops line this bayfront area, too, for browsing and buying.

This street can be considered downtown Beaufort's main street and one can find many shops and eateries here. The town's visitor center is located just a few blocks away in the old arsenal and might be a good place to start your visit to this...More

This street is like a slightly calmer version of King Street in Charleston, with all local shops...no chains. Home accents, clothing, art, souvenirs, treats...it's all here!
