We toured this area by horse drawn carriage and our tour guide's explanations regarding the different architectural features and the families that built and lived in them made it all quite interesting. So much beautiful architecture in a town this size is something that Beaufort's...More

Easy walk from downtown Beaufort to see this historic neighborhood. Moss hanging from all the trees and the waterfront just added to the appeal.

We saw this area first with a carriage tour and drove back to the location for a closer look. If you like historic architecture it is well worth your time.

Visiting the Old Point in Beaufort is a great way to spend the morning strolling the historic streets. Beautiful old homes including the house that was featured in the movie The Big Chill.

Walk these streets and look at the beautiful homes, trees and flowers. We have biked, walked and driven around here and always love to look at the beautiful houses, from tiny cottages to huge historic homes.

Beautiful old houses that make you fells you are living 200 years ago. Peaceful, quiet streets. Lots of homes were used in movies.
