This is a beautiful historic church where both George Washington and Robert E. Lee worshiped (pew #43). Take the time to appreciate the Tiffany stained glass windows!

Everywhere you go in Charleston, you can see St. Michael's Church. None of the buildings can rise above the height of the church. It's been maintained beautifully.

Just the history alone and the architecture make it worth the visit. Allow time to roam the Grave Yard and read the inscriptions (those that are still readable) speaks volumes of those who helped found this great Nation!

Incredibly beautiful chapel! Not a tour, no info on how to tour. Functioning church so not really an attraction but definitely worthy of a walk by and stroll through the cemetery.

St Michael's church has lovely grounds and a charming bell that chimes on the quarter hour. It truly epitomizes a south church.

We stopped into St. Michael's this afternoon. It is a lovely church with traditional pews. There were three beautiful stained glass windows. We walked out through the historic graveyard. It is worth a visit,
