Overview
More
The Schooner Pride is an authentic replica of the 18th century tall ships that once dotted the Charleston Harbor carrying supplies and passengers to and from the plantations. She is USCG certified for up to 49 passengers and is the only 3 mast tall ship that offers public sails in Charleston Harbor. You can sit back and enjoy the the views and gentle ocean breeze or get involved with trimming the sails. We are not a narrated tour, but are happy to answer questions and point out interesting landmarks! Daily afternoon and sunset sails are available March - Early November. Special group sails and private charters available year round!

Very nice sail around the Charleston harbor. Although this was not a "guided" tour, the crew was very nice and happy to explain sites. We visited during Sailing Week, with sailing races going on around the harbor with different classes of sailboats. This was beautiful...More

The crew was friendly and engaging. It was my fiancé’s first time being on a boat and although i had to help her stop freaking out, some of the crew also talked with her and helped to ease her mind and help her feel better...More

I surprised my husband with this for our anniversary and it was his favorite part of our trip! Jenny and her crew were awesome and showed us a great time! The vino and drinks on board didn't hurt either! Would definitely recommend ;)

My husband and I just loved this sail around the harbor! The captain and crew were friendly and made us feel like true guests aboard their ship. The 2 hour cruise was romantic and fun. I would recommend it to anyone!

Relaxing and interesting cruise. When the sails were up, and the motor off, the feeling was soothing and of a connection to historical times when our ancestors crossed great oceans with only the wind to fuel their ships. Crew members were pleasant, knowledgeable and willing...More

Very enjoyable, not “touristy” AT ALL. Had a great time with my 7 & 5 year old. Staff was laid back but very accommodating and kind. Highly worth it if you’re looking to take in the beauty of Charleston!

Even though the day was chilly, our ride on the schooner could not have been better. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable--willing to chat if you wanted or leave you alone if that is what you desired. I don't really like narrated tours, I just...More

Hi, thanks for the question. Each cruise is 2 hours. The time depends on the time of year.

One of the if not THE worst things I've ever spent money on. Absolutely pathetic. The "story teller" made things up and for stories from other people telling her such. The ad for the ghost tour cruise is so misleading.
