It was hot, we walked for miles, all the other churches were closed. Saint John the Baptist was a welcome place to reflect. It reminded me of the churches in Europe. I was hoping to learn a little more about the church. All in all...More

We stopped into this lovely church when we were walking all over Charleston. We wandered through the beautiful inside with its big stained glass windows, beautiful altar and statues as well. It is worth stopping in on your tour around the city.

Historic cathedral only finished in 2010. Gorgeous windows and super nice people. Nice Saturday evening Mass

I love that it took 17 years to build this church. The history of it is well worth learning! Take a step inside and pay close attention to the details. INCREDIBLE 💞

Made a brief visit on the way to brunch. Good to visit on a hot day for a cooling look at an European church. Would be a great place to listen to the huge organ

We stopped by here on a Saturday when there were no services and went inside for a quick look. The stained glass windows are very nice on a sunny day.

Beautiful Cathedral. I lived in Europe for several years I'm just in a lot of old Catholic cathedrals while living there. This one would make them proud.

Inside the Cathedral, take a seat and examine each beautiful stained glass window. The front of the sanctuary is especially unique with lighting focusing on the intricate details. This exceptional cathedral is a nice place to rest, contemplate the need for peace in our lives.
