Attended the 9:30 am Sunday mass (the only mass offered there). The church itself, the wonderful choir, the integration of Latin via the singing were the highlights. The sermon was good but very long. Communion was a surprise....everyone kneeled at the altar rail to receive communion. Overall, a very pleasant Charleston experience!

Enjoyed mass during our vacation. Such history in this building. Enjoyed homily by an African priest with enthusiastic message of hope. Left inspired. Interesting graveyard outside of the church is worth a short walk after. Very traditional mass & celebration of the eucharist.

Sunday Latin Mass was amazing. The church is the oldest Catholic Church in the Carolinas and Georgia. One can feel the history when entering this intimate church, beautifully decorated. A must especially for Catholics.

We went on Easter Sunday and the line was out the door. If you want to go on a holiday, you need to arrive about an hour early. Also, seating in general is limited. The church is beautiful. Everyone takes Communion by kneeling at the alter. A great way to receive as a family.

So happy we chose this church for our Easter Mass. Beautiful church! It was heartwarming to see it packed! There is a parking garage just around the corner and they will validate parking if you show them the church bulletin.

This beautiful, inspirational church in Charleston is definately worth the trip for faithful Catholics. The French influence is very obvious the the building and its design. It is worth the trip

This is the oldest Catholic Church in Georgia and the Carolinas. The inside of the church is beautiful with paintings and stain glassed windows. Sunday service welcomes visitors and hosts a great reception in the church hall after mass.

One of the smallest yet most beautiful churches in Charleston. The inside is amazing! The paintings on the walls and ceilings are something to behold--I could stare at them all day. And pews a creaky--and short--and hard--all which add to the ambiance of this holy place. I have been to many weddings and masses here and it never gets old.... More

Be sure to stop by and tour the grounds. The church itself is also beautiful. There was a tour when we were there so spent more time outside.

Get there early for Mass, tiny cozy church-built in the early 1800's. I felt welcomed and loved. Instead of fighting the traffic downtown at the Cathedral, which is still nice, there is a lovely church right in central downtown off Meeting.
