This park allows you to stroll the waterfront area down to The Battery reliving what the harbor looked like in those days gone by with all of the merchant ships loading & unloading goods. Think about the settlers landing in the late 1670's on a land with huge trees and a jungle of flora. The days of the Kiawah Indians... More

We love visiting the waterfront area and just walking around to enjoy the view of the harbor as well as people watch. Definitely stop by here if you're visiting Charleston.

I like to take visitors here for the great views. The Yorktown, Ravenel bridge and the pineapple fountain. You can sometimes see dolphin playing in the water. It's a beautiful little walk and great place to people watch.

We were lucky enough to get some beautiful weather Thanksgiving week and spent a tranquil hour in the park. Our favorite part was walking out on the pier and finding a swing to sit on.

This is a popular place to enjoy the beach view, especially at sunset. We visited a few times and there were always lots of people here.

This is not a "go to" attraction in my opinion but if you are out enjoying the sights of Charleston then it would be worthwhile to walk through this area. Beautiful and interesting.

A quick way to see some of the best of Charleston by walking from the Waterfront Park along the waterway to the Battery or the other way around. Learn the history of Charleston by looking at the informational plaques. Wade in the Pineapple Fountain, view Fort Sumter in the distance and then have lunch at the Fleet Landing Bar before... More
