A great walking or biking waterfront with a view of the Fort and Naval base. Lots of shops and fine restaurants. Fountains, museum, and ferry terminals. Many watercraft frequent the waterway. Across from the waterfront are beautiful old homes with unique architecture. Carriage rides and coffee shops abound.

Walking out to the end of the pier was quite nice. It was a relaxing place to hang out and to people watch. We rode our bikes in parts of the park.

This park is beautiful it is the perfect spot to stop and rest on the numerous hanging swings to rest up when you are walking around Charleston. Great spot to let the kiddos run.

Beautiful view and nicely laid out. Try to get on one of the swinging benches- they are wonderful and so relaxing. After hanging out at the park, travel along the water front to the beautiful houses along East Battery. Great exercise and fun too.

Nice place to relax and walk or just sit and watch. Loved seeing the dolphins in the harbor, that was really cool! Love that you can look through the looking glass thing for free and see things you don't have time to get to.

Wonderful place to visit! This is one of Charleston's MUST SEEs...from the pineapple fountain, to the swings, to the views... We have been coming here for over 20 years and the city has done a fantastic job, the upkeep is amazing!

Such a BEAUTIFUL, clean, interesting park! It is fun to sit and watch the people, the boats, the dolphins, the cruise ships and the fountain!!! Grab a swing if you see one come open, you will not want to leave. Sit and savor the most wonderful city in the South.
