We have been staying at the inn and have had a chance to walk over a few times. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, that is undeniable. We loved seeing the animals and learning more from the staff at the stableyards and crafting areas. The two...More

Thank you for sharing your comments. With regards to the House Museum, TripAdvisor readers should know there are escorted tours for two reasons: First, unlike many conventional museums, there are no placards or labels that identify a given piece of furniture, painting or artifact or...More

My wife wanted to visit a plantation while we were in Charleston. The concierge at our B&B recommended Middleton Place. Had a couple of great tours, enjoyed walking the gardens on our own and marveled at the great oak tree (900-1,000 years old) on the...More

My husband and I opted to go to this plantation after reading about the gardens. We spent about three hours here. First, we walked around the grounds/gardens. They were beautiful. (Yes, I’m sure breathtaking in the spring, but still beautiful). We followed the path marked...More

Lovely grounds, gardens, and field tour was nice. Loved the little restaurant too. Only disappointment was the main house is gone--as in, in rubbles.

Love the Christmas program every year. The grounds are beautiful and everything is kept in excellent condition. Not handicap friendly though.

Beautiful grounds and a wonderful guide for the house tour. We really enjoyed our time wondering the gardens and learning about plantation life.

Went on the horseback ride when we visited last year and it was perfect. The plantation is beautiful, full of history. Would definitely recommend.

The grounds are stunning, but especially during the Spring when the azalea season. A bit of a drive from downtown, but well worth the trip if you have a car and the time.
