Went with friends and the atmosphere is fun, cozy and like you are in a pub in England. It was a great place to socialize, drink lots of beer and enjoy some snacks.

Really enjoyed our visit to Charleston's French Quarter and the waterfront. This Pub is very convenient, great food and reasonably priced considering the tourist trap we were in the middle of. Highly recommend this spot for a meal (we stopped for an early dinner).

I have been to the griffin twice in the past year, the first time left a bad taste in my mouth so I reluctantly returned only to be proven right with my initial reaction. On my first visit I experienced a "seasoned" server who had probably been in the business too long and had the attitude to match. I let... More

Fun bar with lots of personality. Food looked great, but we didn't try it. On our to do list for next time. Wait staff was great. We liked it so much we went back twice and bought the t shirt

We were told by several people that if you wanted fish and chips, this was the place to go. I had the fried shrimp basket ($9.99) and my wife had the fish and chips ($10.99). They both had a reasonable amount of fish/shrimp and fries. Batter was lite and not over fried. Would go back again

We just walked in for a small bite and we were between meals and only had a small breakfast. The waiter recommended the fish and chips. He said they were the best. We also had wings. This was one of the more reasonable priced places we visited. You spend most of the money eating. However, the food was great. Living... More

This old fashioned historic pub, has great food and isn't your typical Charleston expensive. A large soup and salad meal for me cost only 12$. It's a must stop place if you're only here for a few days.
