Our Polo rep took our photo with "Carolina" and our guide before we started. Our guide explained everything we were seeing and answered all of our questions. We really learned a lot about the history of Charleston. We had a relaxing ride through town that we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Our guide Phillip really knew his history! This was out first time doing a carriage tour and we loved it. We definitely would recommend this tour to others. We did it early on in our trip to gives us a better idea of what to see.

Good and informative tour. Carriage was not really comfortable because there were four above-average height people on one row. Also, I would recommend that the tour guide have a lapel mic, because it is difficult to hear when you are sitting in the back rows.

Let me start by saying I am a history buff and every chance I get I take a tour whether by carriage, museum, battlefields etc.etc.etc. I have come to the conclusion that 99 percent of the time the tour guides are wrong about not just dates but about whole segments of our past. It can be very depressing seeing someone... More

46.00 dollars for two, on a group tour, with coupon from our hotel. Hour ride through historic Charleston. The city provides 3 routes so you don't know what you are going to get. All carriages stop at a check point and that is when you find out your route. Tours stop going through the residential neighborhoods at 4, so if... More

I seldom give poor reviews, and yet our tour today was deeply disappointing. We have been to Charleston multiple times and often choose to take a carriage tour when we visit. A friend, who has never been to Charleston, traveled with us this time. The guides are supposed to pull up to a spot where they learn which historical routes... More

I cannot remember his name but he totally loves his city and knows the history very well. He was very entertaining and informative. We would definitely do his carriage ride again! I'm posting a photo of him so look for his carriage!!

We were on route 3- battery street. Our guide Mr. Dillinger was phenomenal! Great conversation, interesting tidbits and an overall lovely experience! Highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful tour on route 1. Our driver and guide was full of historical knowledge as he is also a High School History teacher and was very enjoyable. We learned so many new historical facts we hadn't during past carriage tours and this was our third in five years while visiting. Carolina was our horse who pulled us... More

Carriage ride was nice, beautiful city. However, our tour guide was very non-chalant about the tour; he didn't say much of anything about the history of the city or the houses, nor did he give in-depth answers when questions were asked. I don't recall his name, but according to other reviews, this attitude is not company wide. Our interaction with... More

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience here. We appreciate the kind words about our hardworking team. It does, however, appear that one of our team members did not deliver an exceptional experience. I can assure you that your comments will be shown to our entire staff as a training tool.
