Joe Riley Stadium is home to the Charleston Riverdogs, concerts, camps, and other activities. It is one of the nicest minor league stadiums in America, and is situated on the banks of the Ashley River. It is extremely popular in Charleston, and Riverdog games are known across the country for their unique promotions, Friday night Fireworks, and one of their quirky co-owners (Bill Murray).

We are in town staying on Kiawah and wanted to do something different this time. We have the Cleveland Indians and the Akron Rubber Ducks at home. This stadium was very family friendly, clean, and easy to get around. Section 102 was great seats on a beautiful night. Can't wait to go again.

My family and I had a great time here! It's a beautiful ballpark and the staff is very personable. I would recommend going on a day where there is also a Citadel baseball game. Two games for the price of one and fireworks on Fridays. We will be back!!

This park is home to the Yankee's affiliate the Riverdogs. Since Bill Murray is part owner of this team, there are pictures of him and I hear he periodically attends the games. Admission to this park is inexpensive. We sat in the front section near home plate for $18 on line. The parking is also inexpensive at about $5. We... More

We checked out a Riverdogs game last week and were happily surprised! It was more than just a game. there was a great sense of community, they honored Tony the peanut man (who had recently passed away). We enjoyed huge beers WAY cheaper than Yankee stadium (where we always go) and I was thrilled I was able to a vegan... More

This is a great event to participate in because it is something different and economical especially if you are from the north east because in comparison the price is excellent and you can see some potential for the yankee team. An event the whole family will like.

We love to attend baseball games when visiting from the UK and as there were no MLB games in the vicinity we went to watch Yankees Class A affiliate Charleston Riverdogs at the Joe. Small intimate park, 6000 capacity, with great views from all seats. Costs $11 entry plus a few dollars to park locally. Good range of food and... More

I've attended several Riverdogs baseball games at the Joe. Fun stadium and not a bad seat in the house.

This is a lovely park for a single A ball club. It's small so all the seats are good, without obstructions. There are many food options too, even some healthy ones. The River Dogs are fun to watch even if they don't always play well. Tickets are affordable for families, parking is abundant and $5 or less.

It was small compared to most ball parks I've visited. The atmosphere, workers, and all were ready to serve in any way needed. Food price was high, but that is for most ballparks of this nature. Good time had by all.
