So this is a sister shop to the magnificent River Street Sweets down the coast in Savannah. It's a bit smaller but still just as delicious.

If you are visiting the Market Street area make sure you stop and get a sample of the warm pecan treats and then you will only want more! Delightfully delicious and very friendly shopkeepers. The Bear Claws are also wonderfully good! You won't be able to resist these candied treats.

We have visited this place for many years and the praline samples keep us coming back. Both the kids and adults can find their favorite sweets. I found that to is best to limit yourself to a few pralines, otherwise you will end u eating the entire box. Our family enjoyed the chocolate dipped rice krispies and the glazed pecans.

Assuring our sweet tooth is satisfied the Savor the Flavors of Charleston Tour stopped at Market Street Sweets. Our treats were candied pecans, peanut brittle, white and dark fudge. And bear claws. All were so good! Then as we left we received a praline to go. Saving this for later. A good stop to satisfy a sweet treat craving. Located... More

These morsels are amazing when there warm...but no worries we bought a few boxes and brought them to holiday gatherings. Just microwave for 5 seconds in moist paper towel... it's like being there once gain~... More

What an interesting place, block after block of "stuff". Christmas ornaments, hand made linens, gullagh baskets, purses, jewelry, candles, candies, spices, gifts galore. Every single vendor I had contact with was gracious. I can't wait to go back again.

Looking for mouthwatering Southern treats -- think pralines, bear claws, fudge -- this is it. All the chocolates and confections are freshly made and many available for sampling. The bear claws and peanut brittle were delicious and while we got some of the pralines we brought them home to sample. The lines attest to the popularity of this place.

I'm going to be brutally honest here. Be careful. The pralines are like crack. I'm not kidding. I've never tasted anything so delicious that I can't resist quite like these. I only bought 2 pralines today because once when I was in New Orleans I bought a box thinking I could take them home with me to enjoy. Ha. I... More
