Family trip to Charleston included this gem excursion! Four of us went kayaking in Morgan Creek, Isle of Palms. We took the two-hour tour led by Wik. He was so knowledgeable and provided fun facts on the birds and tides. We saw egrets, marsh wrens, and so many more! Loved exploring this vibrant ecosystem!

We are in Charleston for a wedding and the bride and groom invited the wedding party to a kayaking expedition in lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner. We did the evening tour which started at 6 PM. Dallas and Tally were the absolute best!!! They fitted us for life jackets and the kayaks, gave us a quick paddling tutorial, and... More

We took the ferry trip to Bulls Island and spent the day at a truly amazing place. This natural setting truly inspires the imagination. There are numerous trails and of course, an awesome Atlantic beach to roam. The Boneyard Beach area was well worth the trek up the beach. The diversity of natural setting contained on one island was simply... More

We had a great time exploring Morgan Creek with our guide Dallas. He was so excited to share his knowledge and passion for what he does that you couldn't help but get even more caught up in the excitement and beauty around you. Best 3 hours on the water I've had in years. Our guide, Chesley, was very knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun. I am going to book this tour again in June with my daughter for her birthday. Even if you have never been in a kayak before (I hadn't), you will enjoy this tour. I can't recommend... More

We recently took the family (3 kids ages 9,8&6) for the half day trip. It was excellent! Our guide and Captain, Will was so informative and gave us a perfect over view of the area and highlights of the island. My only complaint is I wish we could have stayed a little longer. Ferry takes you back to mainland at... More

Just got back from our second trip to Bull's Island with Coastal Expditions. Once again, a memorable experience. Pristine beach, lots of shells,, lots of gators. It is a 1.5 mile walk to the oceanfront, but their were several families with small children who all seemed very happy. Guides on the he ferry are extremely knowledgeable and interact well with... They were great and very informative. Bulls island has a lot of great walking trails and a perfect beach with lots of huge conch shells. I can't wait to go again. Only downfall is the mosquitos which its expected in the south so bug spray is a must. I been living in the Charleston area for over 5 years and... More
